AQUAPLANET Collaboration Model
Starting from the end of the 1990s, G-SHOCK and BABY-G have been issuing special models in collaboration with and in support of various different environmental organizations. In 2020, BABY-G continues to endorse and support AQUA PLANET, an NPO that works towards protection of coral reefs.
The theme of this new model is the ocean that serves as the home of coral reefs, which is evoked by a beautiful blue hue, accented with the orange of living coral.
The band sports the AQUA PLANET logo, and the text "Love The Sea And The Earth" appears on both the band and the back cover. The package of this model also adopts the same blue and living coral coloring.
This special model helps promote ocean conservation and preservation of its aquatic life.

AQUA PLANET is an organization that conducts activities aimed at protecting coral reefs, under the guidance of its chairperson, actress Ritsuko Tanaka.
Ms. Tanaka loves the seas of Okinawa, and she is currently serving as Okinawa Churaumi Ambassador, Kume Island Tourist Ambassador, Ishigaki Coral Ambassador, and in other posts. She is particularly active in coral preservation and regeneration activities, as well as collaboration activities, including coral transplantation and the Ishigaki coral cultivation on the main island of Okinawa.
